From the Nexus team we wanted to thank you all for your continued business during one of the most challenging years in a century.

Just to let you know, our business will be closed from the 19th of December until the 4th of January. Thank you!

To edit an existing page, you first need to click on the “Pages” link located on the left hand side of the screen. This will display a list of all the pages that your website is made up of. All of the pages should be named appropriately to make finding them easier, for example your home page will be simple called “Home” or “Home Page”.  If you can’t see the page you are looking for, be sure that you check the other pages using the navigation buttons located in the top or bottom right.

When you have found the page you are looking for, if you mouse over it, several options will appear. Clicking on ‘edit’ will then load the tools that will allow you to modify your page.

You will now see the title and URL (permalink) of the page you are editing at the top of the screen.  Below, you will see a large box with the content of the page contained within it, with a toolbar just above that will appear similar to what you would see in a word processor such as Microsoft Word. You can click, highlight and modify the text and pictures as you would in a word processor.

For more help with adding or editing content to this box, please visit the Rich Text Editing guide.

It is recommended that you do not change any settings outside of the text box unless you are an advanced user; this is because the existing pages have been set up with certain styles for you, and editing other settings could change how the page displays on your website.

As you are editing the content for your page, it is a good idea to regularly check a preview of the page to see exactly how it will look on your live website, as you can then make any changes necessary to get the page to look exactly how you want it to without committing the page to your live website in an unfinished or unsightly state. To do this, click on the “Preview Changes” button at the top right of the page. This will open up new tab to display the preview, and only you will be able to see it.

Once you are happy with the page, simply click the blue “Update” button on the right side of the screen, and this will update the page onto the your website. You will now be able to view your updated page by clicking on the “View Page” button located next to the permalink/URL, or by navigating to the page on your website.
